PARCHMENT ANALYSIS

Given below is an analysis of the parchment of a sample person, whose personal particulars,  in this example, have been changed or concealed to protect his identity. The analysis consists of an identifying number of the parchment called the index no. (as in a library), an introduction or a kind of 'preface' to the life of the person, followed by year wise record of  life, wound up by details about his death. The index no is worked out on the basis of birth particulars and by matching certain known events in the life of the person.

The scriptures determine that this person will breathe his last, on the 10th day (called Dashmi in Sanskrit language); of the waning moon period (called Krishna Paksh in Lunar calendar); of the lunar month starting around October 15 (called  'Karthik month' in Lunar Indian calendar); when he has completed 75 years and is running the 76th year of his life. The scriptures further determine that this man will cause 5 conceptions* in his life time and that one son will be by his side in his last moments.

An explanatory note regarding remedies: Had this person followed the remedy advised in the 26th year of his life, separation from his 1st wife would have been avoided, in which case, his life would have followed another index no. which would be revealed on a reading of the prescribed remedy parchment no "20024/2664". The events described herein would then be applicable to this person only up to the age of 26. It is somewhat like a computer program which branches to different memory location when a particular logical condition is encountered. 

It has been observed that these parchments are very systematically organized and indexed, just as in a modern library. The documents describing the life generally bear index numbers which are a fraction with both the numerator and the denominator being 5 digit numbers. The remedy pages are also indexed with the numerator of 5 digits and the denominator of 4 digits. Likewise there are the so called commercial pages also, which deal specifically with business problems. The remedy pages often have medical page attachments which spell out various medicines for illnesses, including names of herbs and methods of preparation and administration. It is a historical tragedy, that most of these parchments have been lost over time and also vandalized in the several invasions of India from across its western frontiers and precious few remain. But the few that remain, are enough to reveal an amazing accuracy, organization and system comparable to modern sciences. Apart from the accuracy of the events described, even more astonishing is the language used which describes the state of mind of a person at a critical juncture of his life. For example, in cases of persons contemplating suicide, events and causes leading him to that point are described with a mastery of language which will do a Doctorate in Literature proud. Likewise, the dilemmas often faced by a person in life are described by such a beautiful choice of words as to leave the reader spell bound. There is just one comment which persons make invariably, after having the parchment read out to him-"Cant believe it!" Those who have experienced the reading of their lives from these documents have been left with the feeling that modern science has barely scratched the surface of the truth of what life is and what it is all about; whereas; ancient sages seem to have had achieved that fundamental insight into the innermost workings of nature.

* The difference between conceptions and actual progeny is generally caused by miscarriages/abortions.
